While most programs focus solely on case frameworks, Breakthrough addresses the often-overlooked factor: communication. Drawing from our decade of experience working with top firms, we know that successful candidates combine strong analytical skills with clear, confident communication. Our program integrates both elements, helping you master not just what to say, but how to say it in a way that resonates with consulting interviewers.
We work with four main types of candidates: internship candidates preparing for their first consulting role, recent graduates targeting entry-level positions, technology and information professionals making the transition to consulting, and MBA candidates. What unites them is strong technical or academic achievement combined with the ambition to excel in consulting.
The complete program involves approximately 200 25-minute lessons of focused training. Most candidates complete this over 6-12 months, depending on their timeline and goals. We start with foundations through one of our entry offers, then create a personalized training plan based on your specific needs and target firms.
Whether it’s strategic firms such as BCG, financially-focused firms like Deloitte, or information systems focused firms like Accenture, candidates targeting top tier firms need to begin preparation 12-18 months before their target start date. However, many successful candidates start closer to their interviews, particularly for positions with firms like Deloitte, PwC, and other leading consultancies. The key is to begin with proper guidance rather than length of preparation alone.
